A Horizontal Dust Collector is an industrial air-filtration system designed to capture, filter, and collect dust particles from air generated during manufacturing or processing operations.
Unlike vertical units, the filter elements are arranged horizontally, which makes the system compact and easier to maintain.

how it works
- Step 1:Dust Capture –
- Contaminated air is drawn into the horizontal dust collector through the inlet duct and passed across horizontal filter elements, where dust particles are separated from the air.
- Step 2: Containment
- Captured dust is retained on the filter surface and periodically discharged into sealed polybags, hoppers, or containment housings, preventing dust re-entry into the environment.
- Step 3: Safe Change Process (BIBO)
- Filters or collection bags are removed and replaced using the Bag-In Bag-Out (BIBO) method, ensuring operators have zero direct contact with hazardous or fine dust.
- Step 4:Disposal
- Sealed bags containing collected dust are safely removed and disposed of in compliance with industry safety and environmental standards.
